In this installment of Behind the Buzz, we’re highlighting our superstar senior writer, Susan Pazera. And to top it all off, Susan just celebrated 10 years with Wall Street! Congrats, Susan!

Where in the world have you been that you thought was paradise?
Sailing in the Caribbean back in 2004, we landed on a little island off Honduras called Graham’s Cay. Ashore was a beach bar/hideaway, a slice of paradise right out of a Jimmy Buffet song. It was brand new and the proprietor, Graham, welcomed cruising boats with free mooring and free laundry (when you’re traveling on a sailboat, it’s all about laundry!). We had a super-chill time before our passage up to the Yucatan in Mexico.

What are three things still left on your bucket list?
The list is so long! But this fall, we’re going to tick one off when we visit Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Three more: 1) Trek the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu; 2) Walk the length of the Camino de Santiago in Spain, about 700 km; and 3) Bike/eat/drink our way through Italy.

What is your favorite part about working for Wall Street Communications?
I treasure the friendships I’ve made with my Wall Street colleagues, as well as clients. Plus, the ability to work from anywhere has allowed us to indulge our wanderlust – I’ve done this job from Oregon and California, and I’m doing it now from Boquete, Panama. Who knows where I’ll be doing it from next?
